And yesterday,he wrote a message on his site:

"An open letter to open eyes. 

I would never want to deceive or mislead any person responsible 

for the achievement of my childhood dream and our half decade 

of success together as a band.  It's because of each and every 

one of you, emotionally investing and believing in this group, and 

bonding with us through our gift of music to you that has changed 

the lives of so many.  I am sure if your reading this it has had an 

effect on your life in some way, and hopefully a positive one. For 

that opportunity, I thank you. 

Now to the honest part. 

It would be silly to think a person can be happy and in bliss 

everyday of their life. And being in a good position doesn't always 

guaranty content. Personally, I am rolling through a rough time and 

want to end some confusion and be open with you all about it. 

From personal home matters concerning my mothers health, to 

growing as a person and finding myself (or at least more of myself

 I have yet to discover).  I am very delighted we have a new album 

recently put out. "Back Again", but it breaks my heart to not be able

to be there to perform it.   I have had a strong passion and deep

love for the stage for as long as I can remember. The only time I 

know the meaning of "being alive" and "existing" is when I'm out 

there pouring my spirit and soul on the floor of that stage for your 

entertainment. With that being said, it's been well over a year 

since a stage has been graced by US5.  And since I'm being 

completely open and honest, performing is my reason for doing

this and the part of this job that I live for. I hope you can understand

that I am a little depressed during this slow transition and rebuilding 

phase of US5.

I know the time will come for US5 to rock the stage again, I just miss 

it very much. I am human and I get scared. I feel like I am stepping 

into the unknown. Change has always been difficult for me but 

that's a sacrifice I gladly offer. What's important to me is being 

happy, being artistic, and doing what I love. I have just hit a slow 

point and miss that feeling I only get from performing and being on 

stage. As I said before it is truly what I live for.

There are of course other personal issues I am dealing with on my 

own that remain personal, but I want to assure you all that Izzy 

Gallegos is a strong individual and will fight until the end and 

until there is nothing left to fight for!  I only ask for your support 

and prayers because there is still so much more left for US5 to

accomplish and achieve.

All is well within the band and we are simply waiting for the right 

moment to strike, attack, and succeed. 
Forgive me for the confusion and thank you for loving me as the 

emotional eccentric person I am. I am sure I will find what I am 

looking for soon. We will soon see what the future holds...

and ends on Valentines Day when I will draw a raffle 

ticket to see who wins.  

1st prize is one of Izzy's heart pendants. It is sterling 

silver and stamped This is just the pendant and not 

a chain. 2nd prize is one of Izzy's poem books.  I will 

draw the tickets at noon on Valentines day.

2. What is your biggest fear?? What is your biggest weakness??

Izzy-I guess my biggest fear is rejection and my biggest weakness is a pretty girl x-)


3. What was the best experience with US5? and: How would you describe your fans?

Izzy-I can't chose just 1 experience to be the best, we've had far too many. for me, every time we step on stage and pour our hearts and souls out and in return, you scream your passion back...that is the best experience because there is no feeling like it. I miss it.


4. What's the most important lesson life has taught you?

Izzy- never expect, anticipate, or count on anything until it happens!



5. What is your inspiration for all your great poems? Will you ever release another book with your newest poems? - Or maybe a book with some of your drawings?

Izzy- Life experiences are the inspiration for most of my poems. It's my personal reaction to something that has effected me in some way. I'm sure I will release another poem book one day, but I need a few more life experiences and inspirations first...



6. Would you do a real big Tattoo like on your whole back, if yes, what would it be???

Izzy- yes I am saving my whole back for one big tattoo piece. I don't know what I want yet, but I know I want it to be one big badass piece!


7. You have a tattoo on your right leg. Is it finished, what does it mean?

Izzy- no it's not even close to being finished. you'll have to wait until it is finished to find out what it all means...x-)



8. When you were at school were you with the popular students, or the outsiders or nerds .. etc.?

Izzy- I was cool and popular. I went to a pretty big school but a lot of people knew who I was. I was pretty much friends with everyone, but I guess I hung out with the skaters and ravers the most.


9. Is there anything you've always wanted to do but never had the chance to ? If so, what it is ?

Izzy- I've always wanted to wrestle a real match in a real wrestling ring in front of people. I've had the opportunity to do a little training, but I want to be out there with the people, performing!


10. If you would get the chance to start as a professional wrestler, would you leave US5? 

Izzy-Maybe....just kidding! no I would never leave US5 to become a wrestler. I would do both! x-)


11. Do you think about your dreams when you are awake? Do you think dreams have a meaning? What was your most romantic dream that you ever dreamed?

Izzy-Sometimes I remember and think about my dreams all day. I always wonder if dreams are real alternate places our mind can only tap into during a state of r.e.m sleep. it's interesting

Izzy- Bad hygiene!


13. How many "real" or good friends do u have?? Do your old friends treat you different now you are famous? Is it hard to trust friends or people now?

Izzy- I probably really only have 2 or 3 good friends from the past and they don't treat me any different and still call me Chris (they can, you can't!). But these days it's very hard to make and trust new friends because you never know their true intentions 


14. Love is a unique feeling...every receives love in another way. For some it's a normal feeling and for other it's something exceptional. 
     What love is for you?

Izzy-I don't know. love is never the same thing. That's what makes love so special and unique is that it is different every time. with different experiences, different memories, different emotions ect ect. so I guess to me, love="new"...



15. Is there one thing/ one person, u would die for??

Izzy-oh, uh, I don't know. a question like that can only be answered in the moment of truth I guess



16. When you go to a new place what's the first thing you do?

Izzy-check my hair haha x-)


17. Were you very nervous when you met Jeff Hardy? What kind of fan stuff of Jeff Hardy do you own? Do you like any other wrestlers besides Jeff Hardy?

Izzy- No I wasn't really nervous the first time I met Jeff Hardy, just very excited and anxious to see what he would be like. I've met with Jeff a few times now and he's always the coolest nicest guy. He continues to inspire me to this day. I do like a few other WWE superstars: HBK Shawn Michaels, John Morrison, Edge, Ric Flair(met him too), Goldust, just to name a few. 



18. Where do you see yourself in 5 years?

Izzy- Hopefully just finishing a long world tour and getting a nice long break with more money and women then I can handle...(fingers crossed haha)


19. Do you like Vampires?

Izzy- Vampires are ok. I'd like to meet one...


20. What do you really hate???

Izzy- dirty dishes and untangling really tangled headphones or cords. it's irritating as shit!

21. Would you ever pose nude in a magazine???

Izzy-hahaha maybe...never say never x-)


22. What movies could you watch over and over and still love???

Izzy-"The Doors movie", "Friday", "50 First Dates", "Boogie Nights", "Rockstar", and "The Beach". 



23. Would you be able to do a tattoo in an intimate place on your body and would you do tattoo if fans will send you a commendable sketch?
